Christiaan Oostwouder
I am a software developer from the Netherlands that is currently in the 3d your of my 4 year study. I have experience in C# and can work in Unity and Unreal Engine. I am also learning Arduino and want to learn C++ becouse of my interest in robotics.
About me
My name is Christiaan Oostwouder, and I am an 18-year-old software developer currently in my second year of studies. I have a strong foundation in Python and C# and am currently expanding my skill set by learning C++. My passion for technology extends beyond just coding; I am particularly fascinated by robotics and am eager to delve deeper into this field.
I am actively seeking an internship where I can gain hands-on experience in robotics, with a preference for opportunities abroad. I believe that working internationally will not only allow me to broaden my technical expertise but also give me the chance to experience different cultures, meet new people, and build a global network of professionals.
Professional Experience
Since I was 16, I have been working at two different companies at Schiphol. My first job was in an office setting, where I honed my skills in a professional environment. My second role was more diverse, combining both logistics and office work. These experiences have taught me the importance of teamwork and effective communication in a professional setting, skills that I continue to refine.
Passion Projects
Outside of my studies and work, I am an avid tinkerer. I love working on cars and motorcycles, always looking for ways to improve and innovate. My passion for building and creating extends to my personal projects as well.
One of these projects is a website I am developing, where I plan to publish games that I create. The other is a Unity-based game in 2D, where players must defend their base against waves of enemies. This project allows me to experiment with game mechanics, user interface design, and overall gameplay experience, all while further developing my programming skills.
Looking Forward
I am excited about the future and the possibilities it holds. My goal is to continue learning, especially in the field of robotics, and to apply my knowledge in a practical setting. I am confident that an internship abroad would be an invaluable experience, helping me grow both personally and professionally.
I am eager to contribute to a team, share my skills, and continue to learn from others. Whether it's in a professional workspace or while working on personal projects, I am driven by a passion for technology and a desire to push the boundaries of what I can achieve.
